Configuration

Overview

After installation and activation, the Yoco Payments plugin must be configured with the unique Yoco API (Application Programming Interface) keys. These keys authenticate your website with our servers, allowing secure communication for payment processing.

We provide two types of API keys:

  • Test Secret Key: These keys are used for testing the payment gateway integration without processing actual financial transactions. This allows you to simulate payments using test card details to ensure everything is working correctly.

  • Live Secret Key: These keys are used for processing real customer payments.

The Live Secret Key should only be used once you have thoroughly tested the integration and are ready to accept live transactions.
